The app’s content is structured in a Q&A format.

The vast majority of questions have been collected from teenagers and young adults who agreed to share their thoughts on the topics covered by the app.

To compile the answers we used a mix of internal data gathering and external professional help. Many questions were basic, and we easily managed to find reliable answers from official online sources, such as nhs.uk, cdc.gov, aids.gov and few others. Every time professional vetting was required, or whenever we could not find a satisfactory answer, we reached out to a small group of graduate students specializing in sexology, who graciously helped us in their spare time.

As a final step, an editor, a specialist in publications for young people, reviewed the content to make sure that the language used was age appropriate.

For the future, we are in the process of selecting a medical advisory board that will help us to plan and supervise any changes or additions to the app’s content.
